A Special Message Regarding Heart for Home and COVID-19:

Hey Friends,

As we navigate this unprecedented time, the well-being of our congregation and community is our top priority. We are here for you today, and in the months ahead, and will continue to do what God has called us to do in helping people find and follow Jesus.

We are specifically reaching out to you because many of you have pledged, sacrificed, and given to our “Heart for Home” initiative.

We have been seeking counsel and believe as a congregation we must look at the immediate impact of COVID-19 and plan for the long term outcome of our church. We are seeking your support and approval to repurpose some of the funds from the “Heart for Home” initiative to pay for “rent & mortgage” expenses if necessary in the months ahead. Our goals for Heart for Home remain the same as we weather the storm, the repurposing is a backstop for our giving pledges as we change to our online format.

We desire to answer your questions and we ask that you submit them ahead of time. Please submit here. You may also email Mark McKinney at any time by clicking here.

We are confident that God is in full control. We are operating in faith and trust Him to give us His wisdom and guidance as we keep giving a lost world HOPE for the future.

The DelSesto's Story

In scripture, we are encouraged to meet with and encourage one another (Hebrews 10:25). As a young Christian, I didn't think this applied to me as I was a long ranger type. It wasn't until about 10 years after I gave my life to Christ that I understood why this was so important. Before we found Crosspointe we attended a church for 24 years that regretfully had to close the doors due to financial constraints. We never want to see this happen again as this was very difficult for us. A couple of years later we found Crosspointe Church. Both my wife and I knew this was the place for us - it felt like home.

Two years ago Crosspointe moved into its new building and this has only made us feel more at home. My wife, Suzie, and I have been involved here for about five years and have loved every minute of what we see God doing. We encourage you to become part of the Heart for Home Initiative as you will be part of building God's kingdom further into the future and helping more people find and follow Jesus.
